Let's Go to the Beach!
The summer is meant for beach trips and I am very lucky to live in Southern California. Down south I have beautiful San Diego beaches and up North are the fun Los Angeles beaches. Yesterday I took a visit down to Carlsbad, CA. This is a city near California with a big, sandy beach and a cute down town area to walk around. There are a lot of characteristic shops and restaurants. There are lots of restaurants on my list to visit and I came across shops such as natural cosmetics, vintage clothing store, and all of the beach-y boutiques.
On this particular trip I spent hours on the beach. The waves were a bit too rough for me (I'm scared!!) so I stayed close to shore but the water was so cool and refreshing yet warm at the same time. Most of my time was spent just standing on the shore being splashed by waves.
For lunch I got some vegan taco bell. One Bean burrito fresco and two crunchy tacos with beans instead of meat.
