Why You Should Use Airbnb

Everyone wants something different from traveling - food, shopping, culture, resorts . . . some people like to immerse themselves in the culture, and some just want a few good pictures for their Instagram.  This blog post will be a message for the people who are searching for culture in their travels. There are pros and cons to staying at someone's house. It may not be as comfortable as a hotel room, but I think it is worth it. Here are the reasons why you should use Airbnb.

First, hotel may be easier at times, but Airbnb is usually cheaper. It sometimes seems more of a hassle to arrange things with your host and have to make yourself at home in someone else's space, but the cost of Airbnb is usually less.

But, it can be easier. If you are trying to save money even more, what does someone's flat have that a hotel doesn't? A kitchen! You can consider eating some meals in which can save a lot of money, especially if you are in an expensive city.

Next, its an opportunity to make friends. If you reserve one room, there is a chance that another room will be taken. You will be able to meet the host and fellow travellers.* Also, you will be able to chat with the host about the best places to go, and how to stay safe!

Overall, the best reason to stay in an Airbnb is that you are presented with an opportunity that you would normally never have. Imagine, if you went to say, France, like I did, would you have the opportunity to stay in a real French apartment? Some will say yes, but many will say no. I stayed with a sweet lady and her cute, old, French apartment. I would have never had this opportunity outside of Airbnb, and if you think about it, its really exciting. Imagine how deeply you can explore the culture of a country, state, or city, by staying with a local in a genuine house of the location. That is what makes Airbnb special, in my opinion.

Where will your next destination be?

*Just a note, it is possible to rent out the entire flat to yourself.

I got to stay in this cozy French room for a low cost!
